Peer Support Worker

The Golden Bay Community Mental Health Service is seeking a Peer Support Worker to join the team. Applications are welcome from people who have lived experience of mental distress and who are willing to share this experience in their work.  You will work alongside individuals and groups of people who experience mental distress to help restore hope and personal power and to inspire them to move forward with their lives.  You will be required to undertake training for the role and professional supervision will also be provided. You will be part of a positive and progressive team culture, working in beautiful Takaka.

The role is currently 16hrs per fortnight with flexibility around days/hours.
