Registered Mental Health Professional
Community Mental Health Service | PPT | 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours/week plus after-hours on-call crisis roster)
Te Whare Mahana Trust is seeking a compassionate and experienced Reg. Mental Health Professional/Case Manager to join our Community Mental Health Service in beautiful Mohua/Golden Bay.
This role is suited to a Registered Social Worker, Registered Nurse (Mental Health), Occupational Therapist, or another registered health professional with relevant mental health experience.
You’ll work alongside tangata whaiora, whānau and community partners to provide recovery-focused assessment, care coordination, advocacy, and practical support within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. As an important member of our service, you’ll also contribute to our after-hours on-call crisis roster, helping ensure compassionate support is available when it’s needed most.

We’re looking for someone with current NZ registration and an Annual Practising Certificate, excellent communication skills, a commitment to recovery practice, and an understanding of (or willingness to develop) Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally safe practice. A full NZ driver’s licence is required.
